If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: Fuck Gaijin, but credit where credit is due.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. I mean that's why so many people were invested in this game, because it held so much potential. Think of mouse aim, BR system (in theory.), the whole Ground Forces/Combined Arms aspect. I usually played through those things when I had time to kill but not enough for a full battle, real nice to see the continuity although most of these missions in WT kinda suck. I don't like how they run War Thunder in regards to PR, monetisation, mission design and long-term development, but they are far from incompetent. Looking through a bunch of gameplay footage, I think Gaijin pulled a lot of their single player missions in WT from Birds of Steel. Saying they don't know how to design games just because they didn't invent the genre, is ridiculous. Obviously the original Il-2 series heavily influenced that, since it was the most influential 2nd World War flight sim of its time, and since Gaijin were tasked with continuing that franchise. So what's left is the sheer concept of dogfights and ground attack. Graphics and sound effects, flight and damage models are different. Birds of Steel was never released on the PC. Because what you're saying is Gaijin's Il-2 titles use Maddox Games' code, which is highly questionable from a coding perspective (different game engine) as well as from a business, legal standpoint. Just in case anyone wants to know what the campaigns are if you buy the War Thunder - Steam Pack, they are the campaigns from the game Birds of Steel that was on the xbox 360 and PS3. You are aware of what the word "directly" means? I'd like to see you bring anything up to support your claim. ![]() The gameplay in those games is directly lifted from IL-2 games. ![]()
